Acupuncture & Neuropathy: A Drug-Free Approach to Nerve Pain

There are many variations of passages of Lorem Ipsum available, but majority have suffered alteration in some form, by injected humour, or randomised words which don't look even slightly believable. If you are going to use a passage of Lorem Ipsum.

Acupuncture & Neuropathy: A Drug-Free Approach to Nerve Pain

Shoulder Pain Relief Through Medical Massage & Exercise

Shoulder pain is one of the most common issues I see in practice — particularly among older adults, people recovering from surgery, and those with chronic health conditions. It affects movement, sleep, and day-to-day independence. But with the right combination of medical massage, targeted exercise, and informed care, it’s possible to regain strength and mobility.

What Causes Shoulder Pain?

Shoulder pain may stem from injury, repetitive strain, postural imbalances, or degenerative conditions like arthritis. For many of my clients, pain is compounded by limited movement, fear of aggravation, and reduced circulation. Common contributors:

  •  Rotator cuff issues
  •  Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)
  •  Post-surgical tightness
  •  Nerve impingement
  •  Muscle guarding due to long-term pain

Medical Massage for Shoulder Recovery

Medical massage is different from general or beauty massage. My approach targets the underlying cause — working along fascia, muscular tension, and nerve pathways to release constriction and improve blood flow. What I focus on in treatment: • Releasing tension in the upper trapezius and deltoid • Encouraging lymph drainage and Mobilising the scapula and clavicle • Reducing protective guarding through slow, graded work

Rehab Through Movement

Massage alone is not enough. That’s why I combine hands-on therapy with tailored rehabilitative exercise, especially for older adults and people with medical diagnoses. I run: Strength & conditioning classes, Seated aerobics for mobility, Water-based rehab sessions and 1:1 shoulder mobility coaching
