Hypnotherapy

Foster positive change with a gentle approach to healing in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Hypnotherapy (also known as hypnotic suggestion) is a therapeutic practice that uses guided hypnosis to help a client reach a trance-like state of focus, concentration, diminished peripheral awareness, and heightened suggestibility. This state is similar to being completely absorbed in a book, movie, music, or even one’s own thoughts or meditations.

Core Focus Areas

Responsiveness

A person is unusually responsive to an idea or image, but they are not under anyone’s “control.” Instead, a trained clinical hypnotherapist can help clients in this state relax. This, in turn, draws attention inward to utilize resources within themselves for achieving desired behavioral changes.

Increased awareness

Eventually, a client learns how to address their states of awareness on their own and, in doing so, gains greater control of their physical and psychological responses.

Massage before surgery prepares the soft tissue to adapt to a new joint, and massage afterward makes recovery smoother, faster, and less painful. It’s foundational, not optional.

Specialized Techniques

Deep Tissue Myo Fascia Dysfunction and Postural Analyses

Deep Tissue Massage is unlike other massage techniques that focus on relaxation. This rehabilitative sports massage is specific to the client’s postural issue helping to alleviate pain and return the body to full health. It reduces inflammation, breaks down scar tissue, and returns muscle and tendon flexibility to normal to treat muscle pain and improve stiffness as found in joints and ligament and tendons. It is commonly used amongst sports people who wish to regain freedom of movement that may otherwise be restricted due to adhesion knotts that result from injury or overexertion, resulting in a disruption of increased range of movement thus causing pain and inflammation.

Ace Cupping Massage is used to soften tight muscle tissue and tone attachments, loosen adhesions (Knotts) and lift connective tissue, bring hydration and blood flow to the body tissue, move deep inflammation to the skin surface for release, and drain excess fluids and toxins by opening lymphatic pathways.

Manual Cupping Massage creates suction and negative pressure, which loosens muscles, encourages blood flow, and sedates the nervous system (which makes it an excellent treatment for high blood pressure). It is used to relieve back pain, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, and even cellulite.

This is a technique in which local suction is formed by creating negative pressure on the skin surface by using plastic cups.  This treatment works by lifting the muscle off the bone.  When used in conjunction with conventional massage, this therapy creates a very effective form of treatment, resulting in Pain relief, inflammation, circulation, and relaxation, improved immune system, and ease of symptoms of stress.  Deep Tissue cupping massage is a standalone treatment, but can be used in conjunction with other therapies to provide the following

  • Release the rigid soft tissue
  • Drain excess fluid and toxins
  • Bring back length, form, and function to previously shortened and constricted muscles.

Injury recovery and manipulation reduce the chances of re-injury. This is very specific to the sports individual as it concentrates on body and figure analyses. It considers any previous injuries or weakness caused by overcompensation in the gate and postural integumentary influences, as seen with fascia that holds everything in place, and the environment it lives in. As the body competes to perform to its maximum

Pre-event sports massage is given within 4 hours of the preceding event and focuses on the parts of the body that are involved in the element of exertion. It can be a valuable tool for an athlete to either stimulate or calm the nervous athlete. It supplements an athlete’s warm-up and prepares them for top performance.

Post-event sports massage is given within 4 hours after the event as it helps to return the body’s muscular tissue to normal working capacity by bringing length back into the musculature, releasing the strain on the joints, and clearing the muscles of lactic acid, thus promoting a faster recovery and continued uninterrupted training.

We specialize in helping athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and sports lovers recover faster, reduce pain, and restore balance naturally. The body naturally heals through its own healing power, without any medication. The treatment improves blood circulation, reduces inflammation, supports joint flexibility, and boosts overall well-being.
